Honors and AP classes are for kids who are intellectually curious, and have been since they were elementary school students. I really like this. I've been an AP student (long, long ago!) and have been intellectually curious and intrinsically motivated my whole life. I love learning anything, everything, whenever possible. It frustrates the crap out of me when I have a child who refuses to be curious about anything other than his new cult: a christian church!
