GodDAMMIT, YouTube! (updated 5/26/21)

If someone's actions show you in no uncertain terms that they are NOT in the market for vacation rentals, or new tires, or cell phones, or working for Uber Eats, or an e-book with no description whatsoever to create interest....

 STOP SHOWING THEM ADS FOR THOSE THINGS.

I am NEVER going to patronize vrbo or Uber or Belle Tire because of the obnoxiousness of your ad presentation.  I don't know who was plugging the e-book, and I never will.  That is to the benefit of the author, because I might give them a chance someday.  Those other businesses are on my permanent shit list, because of YOU.

 They should sue you for damage to reputation.  You are THAT bad.

There's a downvote button (sometimes), but the absence of a "NEVER show me this ad again" button is perhaps the worst error of this ad campaign.

 Adding companies to boycott as they come up:

Aspen Dental (NEVER show me this ad again, God damn you)
Nutrisystem
GoodRx
4Patriots
ZuPoo
Liberty Mutual (NEVER show me this ad again either)
Equinox
AirBnB
monday.com

Update 5/26:  Looks like Aspen Dental is the last company to get a clue that this level of in-your-faceness is offensive and pull their ads.
